Hey guys....so transmission fluid is what the hilux uses as power steering fluid
I am.amazed...can anybody else confirm this ?

Depends on the model Hilux you have(newer one uses WS fluid, the older ones use type iv)...I use an alternative made by Mobil for my transmission but I have never used it in my power steering; cause it is to expensive.

WS is a thinner fluid.
Used in the REVO and RAV4 tranny.

The mobil 3309 meets the same spec as the toyota T4, so you can use it in the powersteering steering system as is DEX/MERC spec fluid
