I got OEM Mitsubishi sensors from Faiz in Marabella back in January. But the OEMs are expensive, even online in the US.

U gt.

Reviews on them say some work for some people and others say they didnt.

I tried one of those US$50 aftermarket ones on Amazon and it did not work for me. Only when I put on the OEM sensor did the abs light clear.

Is the abs pump a common issue on these lancers (4B11)?
Does the smaller engines use the same pump?

The abs & check lights are on, scanned the car and got two codes: Abs pump & speed sensor!

Never had an abs pump issue. The speed sensors regularly go bad

The speed sensor is inside of the transmission?

When was the last time you changed fluid/bled the brakes? Seeing as how you're not losing fluid and it isn't happening continuously, it sounds like you have some air in the system.

Yes very likely.
Address as soon as before the cylinder walls becomes damaged and the entire cylinder would need replacing.

So my cy is 14 yrs old and doing over 270000 km .
About 2 months ago I replaced the ac compressor with a new one , parts and labour came up to $ 6000.00.

Today I replaced the brake master cyclinder with a new one from the firm.
The new unit cost $3500.00, installation with materials about $ 500.00 by my mechanic.

Once in a while for some time the pedel would start to down more than normal.
For a week now it kept doing this more frequently.

Unfortunately the rubber seals are not mounted on the piston anymore.
These , dont know how much their are , are mounted internally on the body of the unit.
And their are no way I can see to get to them.

The company told me their are no kit for this and the entire unit have to be replaced.

While doing checks , the mechanic told me the rear wheel bearing will have to be replace soon , it is not mission critical
as yet.

From videos I see on line , it is not just the bearing but the entire hub assembly with the wheel studs will have
to be replace. The firm has this for over $3000.00 but the mechanic told me to source this from the outside.

I love this car wrt interior space but I hope its not going to be a money pit.

If you keep on going by the firm, you're the one making it a money pit

The ac compressor was supplies by the ac man by grand bazaar.
The master cyclinder all over was used ones, I did not want to take that risk.

The rear wheel assembly on amazon I notice is from taiwan

You can't really complain or be surprised because wheel bearings will need to be changed especially at that mileage, the AC compressor, as well, might fail after that amount of time in service. Cars only become money pits when you don't keep on top of maintenance especially with that age and mileage. Keep on top of parts or servicing that should be done and you'll be good. Things like Various bushings, Ball joints, Shocks, Accessory Belt and tensioners, Trans fluid, Ps. Fluid etc. will need to be changed at respective intervals or at some point during ownership. All of those are replaceable items that won't last the life of the car.
