mivec engine

Postby singchef15 » April 11th, 2012, 1:08 pm

I changed my spacewagon 4g93 engine to a mivec 4g93 engine. Can anyone assist me with any information as to the pros and cons of such an engine?

Is it easy to get parts? what about gas consumption?

Dude you buy and swap engine into your car then you decide to come on tuner and ask about pros and cons??? You should have done it in reverse order buddy. Goodluck with the new install anyways.

Actually I have been posting and asking for quite some time now. That's why I joined the forum. To learn more about engines. Don't always get a timely response. I actually got another 4g93 engine before but it was faulty, and the mechanic got the mivec he said it is a good engine.

Thanks for your good wishes

how does it drive in that heavy mini-van?

The 4G93 was already to small for those SpaceWagons, need 4G94, 4G63 and 64 to feel right

Well I will agree with you there wrt timeliness of responses. My bad dude, thought you just went out and got the engine before trying to seek pros and cons.
