Factory inherent problem with mitsu.
Did mine over at least 3 times until i went total fiberglass!

Not just the roof, under the spare tire well also. I ground down the rusty spots and painted it with underbody coating.

I KNOW that Evo VII's do it, can't speak for anything else. People need to take a peep below dey, otherwise they will go in their trunk one day and see a big hole.

An evo too?
when that roof crap started on my car i stripped the whole interior and sprayed some off the shelf rust inhibitor to the whole flloring as well.No visible signs of rust there yet tho.

ALL mitsubishi cars used the same bonding material which oxidises.... chances are the newer ones will do this in time as well...

yep. this has happened to mine too. you can see the lines of where the bubbling occurs on my roof. It's horrible
