recommended oil for 4g92SOHC

hey there
its that time again for an oil change
for my last oil change i used castrol synthetic
should i continue with this brand or is there something better i should try?
im almost at 70,000miles in mileage
if that helps with the decision?

Not sure of the Castrol, but the Shell Ultra in the grey bottle is good IMHO

the shell is what i was told to use by my mechanic anil ramdeen...think he said the castrol does burn out too fast in the 4g92s

just look for shell ultra in a grey bottle and i should fine?
or is there different makes of the shell ultra in a grey bottle?

i changed to mobil 10w30 syth ,,, good stuff ,, not goin back to anything else

works well too - less $$$

^ personally I know four people who spin number 4 conrod bearings using mobil 2 of which own CK lancers with the 4G92 SOHC so continue....

So Mobile 1 for the 4g92 is good for oil change out? What body of oil though?

after all is said and done..
ive used MOBIL1, castrol syntec,
the best oil ive used on my CK is the same oil diamond motors uses: SHELL
the blue bottle works wonders...

i use quaker state 20w-50 in my ck4 4g92.
i've tried castrol, shell and i dont know if its mind over matter but i feel a lil difference in my car.

i use amsoil 20w-50. the 5w-40 wasn't heavy enough for how i drive. this was after rebuild and proper break in. go figure...

Used the Shell synthetic in the blue bottle plus change spark plugs and oil filter. She moving like a stealthy beast!
