want to convert libero from auto to manual

hi i want to change my libero from auto to manual but i need some info.someone told me if i put a gear box i need to change the diff because i could burn out the centre diff and destroy the gear box.is this true?tell me what i need to do please.

the person also said that i need to get the rear diff off the gsr model libero 4wd or from an evo 3 or summin that manual already.
