^^
2wd mitsu lancers carry the prefix CK in the chassis code - As in CK2A or CK4A
4wd chassis code is CM5A etc . but CM as the first 2 letters ,, there are some 4wd lancers on 4g15 dohc's with auto tiptronics,

CN9A's are evo 4's
CP9A's are evo 5's, 6's and 6.5 TME's

anything else? tell the seller to HYMC ! and UDFR!

I think I saw you being interested in an E7, those are CT9A, along with E8's and E9's. The tricky part is there are letter/number configuration changes to indicate different trims within the same model e.g an E7 GSR will be CT9A SNDFZ while an RS will be CT9A SNGFZ. So some men will try to pass off less desirable models to the uninformed. Once you have your codes, you can spot the real deal. Like the guy who had done a full E6 conversion but was selling it as an E6. As soon as the bonnet was popped, there was CK2 on the firewall stamp :? ................walked away one time!
