Had to be the 2WD. Price really low considering its the NextGen Outlander.

went to get some parts in DM South today

saw it up close

maybe because I am accustomed with size of the L200, but it seems a bit small and compact

too small for $290k

nice interior and exterior looks

a few ppl were test driving

I saw it on the newspapers as well....it has a hill start sytem which prevets the vehicle from rolling back on a hill.
This feature is also on th 2011 STI WRX.

But I do like the shape of the ASX...very impressive!

alot of the advertised features are not included about 80%... i would have considered it but no rockford sound system, no 4wd , no paddle shift, no 18 like the outlander Sport (not outlander guys) and yes its the rvr in Japan, the sunroof alone needs a special insurance approx 2/3 of the roof is glass

Ok, got it Friday, drove it over the weekend:
1. Nice inside, looks like a lancer
2. b411 engine is ok, CVT is bleh, but at least there is a 6 speed tiptronic option.
3. Drives very nice, needs some wider wheels and tires.

I will post up pics later, or tomorrow..

Cool, after all it is Mivec so you will enjoy that engine kicking in.

Ok So the asx went in for it's first service today......$1032!!!!!! highway robbery!!!! But again, is the stealership, so I should expect that!

This crossover is very nice. It rides well, has enough kick for almost everyone, and is comfortable to drive. It handles corners pretty good; there is some body roll if you really push it, but it's nothing an experienced driver can't handle. The wheels and tires are the weak link here. Some larger wheels and wider rubber will go a long way to tighten up the handling.

Being a tuner, I am just biding my time until I can modify the asx: so far I have found a cold air intake, lightweight pulley, and there are some ecu plugins that bump up the horsepower (btw this carries the same engine as the lancer gt, the 4b11 - which is a close cousin to the EVO X engine!)

Just a thought.

Pics in a while, I just haven't had time to take any.

more later

I could get my special suprise, since I drive one, and my company owns 2, as well as a cs3 lancer, and 5 Ford Rangers?

WTK: I saw several drivers fulling Super...is this stated in the Owners Manual?

I know the new lancers design for premium but cud run on super as an alt/ emergency fuel with little engine degradation. Same for ASX?

When I checked it out in March they were not bringing in 4wd or diesel. I do not know if this will change tho.
