The pump is swaying away from the fuel. You need to make some kind of bracket to keep the Pump from swaying too much. Check to see if the pump has a strainer at the bottom of it as well.

I think you mean fuel flowing away from the pump...

efi tanks may have a baffle to keep fuel in the chamber with the pump, so that when you turn corners the fuel instead of flowing away from the pump will stay in the area.

only way to defeat that is to get an EFI tank. or for very least do not let fuel level go below 1/4 tank.

Yh. Thanks there Mishi. Below 1/4 tank is pushing it. Any time I got below 1/2 or even 3/4 sometimes was pressure.

So I pushed my car today, it went to the "E" marker, ran nice, however when i had to take any sharp corners, I was in some drama for about 2 seconds or so, and in driving that's alot of time lol.

I also saw the EFI tank today and would recommend it over trying to fabricate a fix for the problem. Reason being, apart from the original bracket that is there to keep the pump from swaying, there is an area that the fuel flows into to feed the pump (its deeper than the rest of the tank). The Non EFI tanks doesnt have this so the fuel still sways away from the pump on a corner.
