Which lowering springs for Lancer CK?

Postby KristianG » November 25th, 2012, 9:02 am

Hi,

Want to lower my Lancer, but for some reason, it's inches higher in the front, compared to the rear.
See picture. Is this normal? I need some tüv-approved springs, because regulations and law in Norway is very strict regarding non-Tüv products. Do you have any tips?

Hello KristianG,

The only recommendation I can give you regarding a set of lowering springs that are TUV compliant is H&R springs. Quoted below from the U.S Tirerack website:

Every H&R component is made in Germany and is tested and approved by the German government’s TUV agency for quality, safety and reliability. Additional testing and research is done in their U.S. facility, right outside Seattle, to fine tune its systems for optimum handling, balance and ride quality. Every H&R part is crafted in Germany to exacting international ISO9001 standards, ensuring that it will perform with the same precision and reliability years down the road as it does the first time you roll it onto the street or track.

Our CK lancer application is on this link:

Personally, I have used this spring for the last 5 years, no complaints. Of course, you cannot expect a smooth factory ride with this spring, but it is corfortable enough for daily driving.

Hope this helps.
