My car is not moving when i mash my ex

Postby ryan666 » September 14th, 2013, 4:55 pm

Hey can you all help me?
Car: 2002 Lancer Cs2
Engine: GDI 1.5L
Ok here's what happened. i was driving in some traffic and my car came to a complete stop and when i mashed my ex to move the car didnt move. I was flooring the ex and the rpm wasnt even moving so i shifted the gear in neutral and revved the car and stuck it back in drive and the car moved off fine, till i came to my next stop. I am getting no power in reverse gear either. Im gonna do a diagnostic test next week but any suggestions of what could it be?

Either a transmission wiring problem or time for a rebuild

Something similar happened to me about two years ago. Turned out that the transmission solenoids needed servicing. Jenton's Transmission Specialist in Aranguez fixed it. Cost me $1200
