4g15 DOHC

Postby King Lee » May 30th, 2020, 9:25 pm

Anyone knows where I can get a rebuild kit for a 4g15 dohc? And the average cost it. Also any recommendations for a good mechanic and average service fee? Wanna know if the better option is to rebuild or buy head and block which is expensive right now @ the bamboo.

Respect.

Depends on alot of things. Current wear of engine. Availability of parts ect.

Personally valve seals. Cam crank rear seal.
New timing belt. Water pump. Headgasket and a few odds and ends I know you could get this locally without a issue.

Bearings
Rings
Pistons
Can't say

So buying a head and block maybe the best option?

Standard motors and mathura and roach used to have gasket kits for this engine. As for bearings and those other items it's a call around or go with old and see
