sounding like the primary injectors are leaking down, or the coils are faulty.

The coils when they get hot stop working or start shorting, remember they are located directly over the engine. That's why the car starts to misfire when you start to drive. Could also be TPS, also when it gets hot stops working properly.

If the injectors are leaking down, you would get the starting problem but not the misfiring, so I am leaning towards coils.

The bars would increase the compression by forming a better seal and it would start like if you push start. (compression would ignite the air/fuel mixture easily) like how ppl put oil down a carb to start.

Well the rotary mechanic part, I can't give any advice there, we don't trust any, just use your discretion and go by somebody you think you can trust.

used to go by him early on...he does know a lot about rx7s especially 3rdgens and he does neat work (as far as i had seen)...ppl say both good and bad things about him, im sure like all other business ppl...i stopped going by him though...not because of what i heard ppl say but because of personal experiences...if u try him out probably your experience might b better than mine 8-) 8-) 8-)

Sounds like the engine is being flooded.

Check Sean or Anil .. just let them diagnose the problem and agree to a repair price BEFORE they do anything.. you can go by anyone as long as you set the ground rules FIRST

there are varying prices, numerous types of seals available, depends alot on the rebuild, if apex seals were damaged, u may need new rotors and rotor housing, hving a $15 000 on stand by is a good idea! however ur best bet is to try to avoid a rebuild in the first place, learn more about ur car, find out y they fail and deal with cooling issues.......
