Hey KRONIK, firstly, you should check your Warranty and Service Record booklet. It's recorded and stamped at the back. (I'm assuming it's a LSM Swift)

Service: Rem your service is every 7500km or every 4 months. Your service classes are sequential: Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3. (It doesn't matter if you're out of warranty).

Records: Your last invoice would tell you what was your last class of service and your mileage at the time of your service.

If you're still unsure which service class is due, just call service at 674-1000, ask for Michelle or Ms. Barnes, they'll be very happy to help. Your entire service/parts change/issues history is recorded and available.

Hope this helps.

I recommend to all Suzuki owners that they print a copy of the SSS and keep same in their Warranty and Service Record booklet.

You can buy the plugs from the firm. I got mine for around $300 at set. Not much of a diff if you buy outside. You might save $40-$60.

The oil you'll get from BigZ. Send him a PM

The SSS comes with iridiums, me thinks. Check your manual to confirm.

Thanks for the linkage, norstar2k.

Cant see a thing... Regardless of what Lifestyle says, the owner's manual is your guide for service intervals and what needs to be done.

don't make sense... they just increase the service interval from 4 months to 6 or 7500km which ever comes first...

btw aint the owners manual states 7500km service intervals?

The Swift manual calls for 15k km intervals for normal conditions.
The severe service is 7.5k km.

Last time I checked, Trinidad was not severe:

1. We dont have dust storms.
2. Our temperature varies from a cold of 35C to a hot of 20C. (I know what I wrote there)

The only thing severe in Trinidad is our roads. Sorry Tobago, dont go by you much.

Also notice the fine writing.....

If you miss their scheduled service your warranty would be voided...

So if you go somewhere else to do your service and "miss" a service at LM does this mean that your warranty is void.....?????

they have the new schedule above printed on the back of the receipt that i got from them today.i have to still calculate if this works out better but i have to wonder if this may be because they have so many cars on the road now that they can't service as often or that people are going outside because the prices are too high to service the cars by them.Realistically the LABOUR is the most expensive by them rather than parts whenever i look at my bill in detail
