Postby ek4ever » December 13th, 2018, 11:47 am

Hey guys, I think my VVT gasket is leaking, how can I tell? Where to get replacement gasket?

Carry the car to a garage that is familiar with these cars. I have previously advised you on this.

That leak is common on those engines. What I did was purple blast the area clean and epoxy around the solenoid. The oil leaks on the belts and wear them down

Why didn’t you just try to change the Oring / gasket? I have the same problem. Will have to check LSM for it this morning. South didn’t have in stock on Saturday.
