BMW Connected in Trinidad

Postby ttphilip » October 18th, 2023, 2:09 pm

Does anyone know if BMW Connected works in Trinidad?
ie if I buy a BMW here does it have connectivity to BMW that allows BMW ID and related functionality such as the phone app, pre sets for radio stations, voice commands etc.

I’m not entirely sure, but I think it should work. My cousin moved to Jamaica with his BMW, and the Connected app worked fine after he updated the region settings. It might be worth checking with a local dealer just to make sure.

I’d say it should work, but I’d recommend checking with a local BMW dealership just to be sure. When I bought my BMW here, I found that some features were region-specific, so getting confirmation from the dealer might save you some headaches later.

Hey, not sure if BMW Connected works in Trinidad, best bet is to check with a local dealership or BMW customer service to confirm!

I’m not 100% sure about Trinidad, but I bought a BMW while living abroad, and most of the Connected features worked fine. Some stuff might depend on local networks or what the dealership sets up, though. I'd ask the dealer directly just to be sure you’ll get everything you want.
