Peugeot 206 Engine Swap

Have a pbj 206 and ran into a host of problems.
From a blown Head Gasket to a Burnt out Transmission
Now the engine ecu bsi and transponder needs to be replaced
I spent enough money and time already so i wanna do a engine swap.

What is the best match up for a 206 enginewise?

Any advise?

Prior to my buyin it was serviced yearly. Last time I serviced it was in Nov 09, but the car has been down with repairs for the past 4 months, hasn't been serviced since.

The car was usually serviced by Sheldon in El Socorro. He sort out the Head Gasket. But the trassmission was done by a guy named Colin in Belmont because Sheldon wasn't available at the time. That when the Brain blew out while he was working on it.
