I heard this from an ex-AUM employee who maintains ties to present workers there.
Na. Still untrue
AUM aside, Proman's message about M4 and M5000 was hinting towards April being manageable but after that it's gonna be trouble. Guess we'll know in about 2 weeks time if they will initiate vsep/retrenchment. Actually heard the Proman head email the staff Friday and told them there was no change to the negotiations. If anyone has a copy of the email, feel free to share since I got no hard proof, only word of mouth from proman ppl

A saturated field with hospital admin not specifically trained in hospital management ? Pretend everyday you are macgyver? Choose what you like for sure because the grass isn’t greener

Trinidad kinda melting down everywhere right now. Med probably aint even a safe bet if we gonna end up like venezuela. Today some of the venezuelans on the streets were probably some of the brightest in their country. Now theyre doing what they must to survive. Honestly the best education to have would be to hunt, farm, fish and basically learn to be self sustaining. Modern education is worthless in a collapsed economy. Then again, Walking Dead did make it seem that doctors are gods, so go for it. You never know

How likely do you think Trinidad ends up like Venezuela?

Personally I don't see it happening. Venezuela ended up the way it did because of socialism, and the sanctions that followed because of it coupled with Chavez' destruction of their oil fields. As one local economist said things in Trinidad are going to get worse over the next year or so and then level of to a lifestyle much lower than we had a decade ago. But I don't see it Venezuela level of bad.
Regarding a self sustaining lifestyle you need land to farm, hunt and fish on. You tube channels that promote the off the grid lifestyle doesn't show just how much money it takes to live a seemingly simply life. Nothing simple about it. What we need to learn is to live within our means. Y'all really need a new flat screen every black Friday sale from price mart? Ease of the boat ride and jordans, actually cook, if unemployed keep your tail home and take off the data plan. You'd be surprised how much money you can save. Can't be zessing in the wettest tida with rims but living in a 10x10. Common sense cultural mindset changes are all we need and we will do fine.
And medicine is a better choice or even law. Always sick people to treat and scumbags to defend

You said it will reach a "level of to a lifestyle much lower than we had a decade ago." Do you ever see it getting back to the standard of living we had in the 90s and early 2000s?

They rolled like that for the last 6 years.
If they got gas, they ran the plant till it trip and decide how long to stay down.
If they got call to curtail, they might ahve opted to reroute that smijnt do gas to trh other plants, take one down and sort out some issues.
It was quite volatile there.
Its not crying wolf so much as if u get sun u have things lined up to make hay, if u get rain, u have things lined up to full barrel.
ST Auto wrote:The outages were not unplanned as it was scheduled to be held in april month none the less. Agree that everyone seeks to maximize profits an things could have been done differently but for months before emails were sending stating what was taking place with negotiations an everyone was fully aware of the short term contract that kept renewing.
