Drivers permit replacement when expired

Good day assitance if possible please. Has anyone ever renewed a permit they lost? This is the second time I've lost it but its due for renewal. What can I do?

I am surprised that this post does not have 100 replies by now, given who the OP seems to be. LOL.

Do you have a picture of your lost permit on your phone or on a photocopy somewhere?

Try calling Licensing for assistance (if you could get through).

Everything is being done online and by appointment only right now. First off you have to make a report to the Police Station of it being lost. (Are you sure it isn't just hiding somewhere at home? In between creases or under a couch or something?)

Better yet, I sure you on FB, so go check on the Ministry of Works and Transport page. They might have some guidelines there. Good luck

Was hoping there was a way to renew it instead of doing a duplicate. Would it be the same duplicate process?

lost my permit years ago. Was advised to get the new one at the place it was last renewed, which was Arima
They asked me to go in the archives and sift through a pile of note books where records were manually written. I had a rough idea of when it was renewed, so I sifted line by line through about six notebooks before I found my entry
Once I found it, I got the renewal
