They does cut it using a surgical knife after applying anesthetic to the area via multiple needle shots in that one area. They had to use the surgical knife to take out the sack which had the puss like fluid in it, if you squeeze out the fluid the sack will remain and after awhile it will start building up fluid again so they had to surgically remove the sack.
Just prepare for ALOT of pain because even with about 10 needle injections in the same area where the cyst was located it still pained alot with the slashes of the surgical knife. Go brave.
