Yea I know but that's too costly just doing something small and making use of what I have on hand. The wood carving disc doing the job but its difficult to hold down the wood as it keeps moving all over while trying to do the job.

What's the costliest aspect of building your own home?
The foundation and roof?

I'm interested in buying a polyurethane liquid applied membrane (Impermax, Sika, Alsan, etc.) for a flat, concrete roof.

I would appreciate it if someone could direct me to a retailer in Trinidad that has it available for sale.

i thought it was the flat membrane sheet you were referring to

scl sells vulchem in a pail $750
a thick one rubberized one
not sure if it is polyurethane
i used it in same application over concrete roof slab

i supposed to have unused bucket you can buy off me at discount if you want, just have to look for it

Thanks so far.

I will contact the suppliers that you both have mentioned and see if they have enough of what I want in stock. I would rather have all of the different concrete roofs waterproofed using the same materials and methods.

There was also an asphalt based one...very thick which we used a lil kerosene to thin it down.
Also worked well. Lifespan was about 12-15yrs.

Ah Lasco was the brand we used on a butterfly roof. Worked but we eventually installed a metal gutter to channel the water away.

Are concrete anchor bolts, not the expanding part, but the bolt itself made to be removed and put back in place?

Want to mount something and want to have the ability to move it when not in use. Using piece of the foundation to anchor the item.

Yes they are. If it’s out in the weather get a good quality fastener.

Agostini (Hilti), Caribbean Fasteners. They will have a good quality for outside conditions.

Guys,

I want to fill in the pipe indentation and repair the hole in the wall. I plan to fill the hole with pieces of red brick.
What is the best option for this? I don't really want to buy an entire bag of cement as it would be too much for my needs.

I am looking at the Plastafilla as it comes in small bags. I also saw something called Plastamix, but it's kind of a big bag. Thanks.

You can buy plastamix loose and given what it is...you can stretch with some red sand in the mix. I did the same for the same pvc holes when I had to run some pipe and had gaps to fill.

Plastafiller is more for the screw hole drilled and you wish to plug it.

Some hardwares sell sand and cement by the pound, so that's an option as well

Look at the label. It's plasta masta mix.
Seeing as this is a TCL product they may be trying to piggyback on the established name of Plastamix.

Harricrete may own the trademark to Plastamix.
Harricrete d hardest hard ;)
