IT HELP NEEDED URGENT

Ok here is the situation......

my laptop was stolen....however i now seing it online and i have his current ip......is there anyway i can track this to his curent location???

via the ISP (Flow/Blinnk/etc), but is if they willing to help you.

Might need a court order to get them to tell you who using that IP address.

Errr where you seeing it online , and is it a Private IP you talking about ?

i had a logmein account......so anytime the pc comes on it gives the current internet ip......not internal......

Log in to the Lappy and Shut it down that should freak them out .

don't do that!!

they might think its faulty and reinstall the OS.. then u want be able to track it... don't be rash..

be patient and keep a record of IP addresses , date and time down to the second. So if are able to get an ISP who is willing to help that info will be useful.

I would of tried to install some sort of keylogger.
And see how much intel I can gather on person i.e facebook emails msn etc.
and lastly if there is a webcam turn it on
