Evidence that the Karamath company had overcharged and done low quality work over the years and that the proper process to choose the best bidder/company was not used.

every company be it govt or private would show their own criteria for selecting a bidder, a bid would not necessarily go to the lowest bidder

But how can they justify using a company that has used low quality material in past projects?

Food is going to become more expensive now. And men still see the need to bling and keep their 20"+ crims shiny.

Look @ it this way....why don't the heavy industries enter into a joint venture and get their own desal plants? That way we won't have to share our scarce water resources for them to just cool their machinery & dump it into the sea....

**my own 5 cents**

In the couva area the plants are usually supplied by Desalcott and/WASA, Desal also supplies the majority of couva and environs though. It is a very expensive plant to build and maintain. Another was supposed to be built but construction was denied a while back

got a "LMAO @ that".
if it comes to pass, there is no water to be pumped to their area, on the days they are supposed to get, to replenish their tanks, so they can take a shower (from tank, assisted by a pump) ..................... what will they / we do then?

complain, it should have water? *SMH*
