TTSPCA person was a bit rude and said they only deal with dogs and cats. She said call the police

Horse got bounced in California last night and is lying in a field unable to move or get up and suffering. The "owner" look like he abandon it

Any advice?

Try a veterinary clinic. They should be able to euthanize it, if need be.

i saw the zoo put one down recently for lion food (and the animal was ready). A single 16-gauge shot to the forehead, horsey juss drop like a B14 on crims.

its a graphic but quick way to end it. if you have a legal firearm (or "semi-legal" firearm if ya know what i mean) and ever see this happening, just finish off the animal right then and there. say a prayer if you want to and pull the trigger. if you really wanna be a good selfless citizen, call the zoo/animal shelter and let them share it up for the animals

didnt want to go watch the horse injured because it was hurting me to see...but his leg was broken (like in the pic) and swinging in awkward positions while it tried to get up and failed and kept falling back down. It was really swollen as well

That was a real nice horse. Had a nice shiny, brown coat. Never noticed it before 2 weeks ago. Figured someone abandoned it there.
