HDC approves house for sextuplets’ parents
By MIRANDA LA ROSE Thursday, April 11 2013

The Housing Development Corporation has approved the application for housing in the Edinburgh South Development for the parents of TT’s first sextuplets, Kieron Cummings and Petra Lee Foon.

If all goes according to plan, and if Cummings and Lee Foon accept the HDC’s offer, they will be settled in their new home by late April/early May.

HDC Managing Director, Jearlean John, told Newsday yesterday that Cummings and Lee Foon’s application was approved, and they will be offered a three-bedroom house in the area they have expressed an interest.

HDC Corporate Communications Manager, Renata Jones, told Newsday that Cummings and Lee Foon, whose application was made two years ago, were interviewed on April 4 last.

They expressed an interest for housing in the Edinburgh South, Chaguanas area. They have submitted the relevant documents, were financially assessed, and the application approved.

Their next step in the process, Jones said, was for the HDC to make an offer of the available house to Cummings and Lee Foon, and to invite them to view it.

If they accept the offer, she said, the sale agreement will be finalised and they could move into the house.

“Once everything goes according to the process from henceforth, they should receive their keys by the end of April or early May,” Jones said.

Meanwhile, the surviving sextuplets

have begun moving into their maternal grandparents’ home in Edinburgh 500, Chag-

uanas.

The sextuplets were delivered prematurely on March 4 by Caesarian section at Mount Hope Women’s Hospital.

The firstborn, Kaelon Nasir, who was critically ill from birth and never recovered, died on March 30.

Three of his siblings — sisters Kaylee and Syrai and brother Shaelon — have been discharged from hospital. Still in hospital are brother Paeton and sister Persia.

It is expected that they could be discharged at the weekend.

the other three are at home so lets do some simple addition:
3-4 box of size 1 pampers = $800 (200 per box)
5 tins of Klim stage 1 = $500 (100 per tin)

Pennywise bill = $600 at the most (oil, creams, soaps, petro jelly, powder etc)

Lol but newborns can't eat nestum, worse yet premature ones. That is probably one of the worst things you can give a premature baby. More likely than not, the paediatricians gonna have them drinking breastmilk, and making up the rest of calories with enfamil or one of them milk based formulas. That ain't cheap at all.

I'm happy they got the house though. At least he's employed unlike the majority of the other situations like these where the mother basically begs for a FREE house.

i know nothing of premature babies

though was just a rough estimate, so ok minus the two hundred and add it to the klim money

as i said, 7k on three babies is a bit high unless there are medical bills in there somewhere.

great, then it shouldn't bother you.
i really couldn't care less either, but happy to see they have somewhere to call home.

and i really hope the dad sticks it out with the mom so the kids can at least have a chance to grow up in a loving environment with both parents under the same roof.

it's been nearly three years.
but thinking about it now i believe we started cereal when he was at like six months or so i could be wrong

sealots people?
beethamites?
all those people who squatting on state land?
those people who have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 children who don't even have jobs?

or is it hardworking citizens who rather pay a mortgage than rent.

but remember the HDC idiots prefer to help their family and friends get house first
so some if not most of the people will get a house when they collecting pension just like the old man last year (or was it in 2011)

when a baby gets bigger, they require a lager size pampers which you tend to get less for the same $200 you was getting over a 100 size 1's for so its more pampers you will require for more money fo the same period.

they also tend to drink more milk so that increases also.

plus the man now has to pay a mortgage instead of living at parents house so that's another expense there

then there is the regular grocery bill, light bill, water bill, well you get the idea.

a teacher gets what? 7K a month?
how much dies a bank employee get?

just trying to understand their position financially.....
