HDC approves house for sextuplets’ parents
By MIRANDA LA ROSE Thursday, April 11 2013
The Housing Development Corporation has approved the application for housing in the Edinburgh South Development for the parents of TT’s first sextuplets, Kieron Cummings and Petra Lee Foon.
If all goes according to plan, and if Cummings and Lee Foon accept the HDC’s offer, they will be settled in their new home by late April/early May.
HDC Managing Director, Jearlean John, told Newsday yesterday that Cummings and Lee Foon’s application was approved, and they will be offered a three-bedroom house in the area they have expressed an interest.
HDC Corporate Communications Manager, Renata Jones, told Newsday that Cummings and Lee Foon, whose application was made two years ago, were interviewed on April 4 last.
They expressed an interest for housing in the Edinburgh South, Chaguanas area. They have submitted the relevant documents, were financially assessed, and the application approved.
Their next step in the process, Jones said, was for the HDC to make an offer of the available house to Cummings and Lee Foon, and to invite them to view it.
If they accept the offer, she said, the sale agreement will be finalised and they could move into the house.
“Once everything goes according to the process from henceforth, they should receive their keys by the end of April or early May,” Jones said.
Meanwhile, the surviving sextuplets
have begun moving into their maternal grandparents’ home in Edinburgh 500, Chag-
uanas.
The sextuplets were delivered prematurely on March 4 by Caesarian section at Mount Hope Women’s Hospital.
The firstborn, Kaelon Nasir, who was critically ill from birth and never recovered, died on March 30.
Three of his siblings — sisters Kaylee and Syrai and brother Shaelon — have been discharged from hospital. Still in hospital are brother Paeton and sister Persia.
It is expected that they could be discharged at the weekend.

hospital care for the other two are free.
the other three are at home so lets do some simple addition:
3-4 box of size 1 pampers = $800 (200 per box)
5 tins of Klim stage 1 = $500 (100 per tin)
5 tins of Nestum cereal = $200 (40 per tin)
2 box of Wipes = $200 (100 per box)
Pennywise bill = $600 at the most (oil, creams, soaps, petro jelly, powder etc)
total: $2300
Medical bills: I would like to think they going clinic/hospital as going private with all those kids will be costly. (maybe here is where the rest of the money going? )

This just happened to be a multiple birth, but I see the usual bigots on tuner loving this
opportunity to spew all kinds of nonsense about people that never asked for this to happen.
I am sure the reporter asked him about his expenses and he answered, so lets all stone him because of our opinions![]()
We live in a country where multiple deaths by car is normal, multiple shooting dead of victims is ok and now we have multiple births that probably can be used to show that this country has hope for the future...but NO, we hadda have petty discussions. I am so disappointed in all of us

This might put the haters in this thread on suicide watch. Especially those who believe they were trying to have children by means of fertility pills.
