I am surprised that nobody has commented on the 2 tier system that the money countries are possibly seeking to implement.
India,Australia and England to be determined the immovables in Test Ranking clearly demonstrate a flexing of economic might and more than likely will be seeing money passing at ICC deliberations for officials to support same.
As noted by someone already ......this smells of another FIFA type model.
No backing from WIBC may mean no more big dollar contracts for WI players at IPL.

WIBC seems to be siding with the big 3. No spine for fight. Basically only South Africa standing against them openly.

Key stakeholder which include the gov'ts of the negatively impacted countries haven't found their voices yet,but bet your bottom dollar all hell will break loose in the not too distant future.
Remember many countries were encouraged to invest hugh sums of money in facilities to host tournaments etc.and are now facing the prospect of the investments not being utilized at levels promised.
The world of cricket may be about to face one debacle which will make the days of 'Kerry Packer' look like a joke.
Unfortunately,I am of the view that the country which initiated this vibe is India and its apparent to me they got the Aussies in bed. These two are only using the English as window dressing.
Funnily, the 20/20 thing they got the WIBC to start last year demonstrated to me a strategic intent to dismantle what little momentum that was being built in the Caribbean. In fact if you look at the West Indies team, they seem to have loss any semblance of team spirit and identity. We now a bunch of paid 'lackies' playing all over the place and at times cant remember why.
I seem to remember a money guy of Indian origin resident in the UK warning the cricketing world of what was on the horizon.
...I cant seem to be able to shake the word IMPERIALISM (IPL).

New Zealand playing like New Zealand....determined bunch. For all the talk we hear of how small the Caribbean is and we produce cricketers from a small base New Zealand has an even smaller base. Yet they compete!!

So India go down 4-0 in their ODIs against NZ, England lose the 2nd T20 and thus the series and Jayawardene goes to 7 double centuries putting him 2 away from Lara and 5 from Bradman.
At 36 years he can surpass Lara maybe. Sangakkara is also 36 and has 8 double centuries.

He's in Australia for the BBL, shud b back soon.
Meanwhile, T&T lose their openin game to Barbados by 28 runs, nice knock frm Ramdin tho, he shud come in earlier as Jason Moh'd continues 2 soak up too many deliveries.
Ramdin is also a better captain than Bravo imo.
