bbq really going down a fail road
cant remember the last time i had good "commercial" bbq,
first fail is that imported leg quarters almost everyone using these days...its fresh, not cleaned properly and the meat is awful after they boil and just burn the outside

Max in Arima on Cocorite Rd, and on the southern main road, not sure the exact address for the SMR.

It have the one in Aranguez before MTS on your right if you coming from San Juan

Flame in Arima, on Xtra Foods compound, Omeara Rd.

If you like real garlic in your bbq sauce it have the one in Curepe by the chinese people with the photo studio (names failing me right now)

Joe's in Curepe, Seleir Street basically around the corner from Burger King

Had a liking for Red Coals in Barataria, but been a while since I last bought from them. Back in south, only place I really still buy from is Grill On The Hill in Marabella, other than that homemade is the way to go.

Yeah it relatively new, within the last few months. Lady used to be the one helping sultan sell before but now she does her own bbq thing on the same compound. Best bbq I get in curepe and she does fix me up nice and it close to home so I does be good to go there.

Last time I went south for bbq with a padna years ago, a drunk driver ran into us from the back before we even get to eat the bbq. We end up by the police station for the rest of the night basically :|

I find Eat It is hit or miss, speaking on the one in Marabella. Sometimes it's cooked perfect and falling off the bone, and sometimes its blood red on the inside.

Max grill in St. Helena is good enough for me. Lamb is a bit tough but the chicken is ok.
