an easier way is just to install maintenance tool via fusion
Then launch maintenance tool under programs and then choose system tweaks and click zero config cache

.
Buffering is either caused by slow server or lack of bandwidth so clearing cache & purging packages helps to an extend in maintenance tool.

another one of these rubbish boxes came in today asking if we could fix again stay clear of this product

As for paid IPTV services
Have several options like NTV, IKSClub etc... NTV is monthly next one is yearly
None are a one time fee

^ I fully agree unless they're willing to pay for a service and have a techie niece/nephew/son/daughter/gson/etc.

I REALLL pissed. Missed a deal on the Asus nexus player  was $35.00 on Groupon. That is a real star for Kodi.

Free ones dont always work some could be found in Navi X, UK Turks, Zesus, Daffy list, Dexter TV
A good free one is USTV Now you can sign up for a free account get 7 US channels free you also can pay for all channels works 99% of the time
Sling TV is also a good paid app need a masking service like Unblock Us or Smart DNS

^ I tried both SlingTV and USTV Now, they just don't have the kind of TV I'd usually watch (news, CBS sitcoms, Fox sitcoms) but otherwise they are great services to pay for.

Anybody have problems with the G Box Q connecting to Flow wifi?
Saw some amazon reviewers have problems connecting to wifi with it and was wondering if I'd have the same problems if I bought it. Maybe the firestick is still the better bet?

Doesn't matter which box you want to purchase Gbox Q, FireTV, Ouya, Videon, NeoX etc all work better via an Ethernet connection
If you get a firestick you are limited to wifi use only

Ended up playing around with this tv box setup with kodi on my note 10.1 2014 and boy oh boy... netflix and others has made me lazy.. I don't know how you guys put up with Navi X, Phoenix and the likes yes... That is real headache thing.

In a way for some movies it's cool though... but... geeez all these hoops to jump over.

^ mobdro doesnt work for me - shows no content. A couple other users in this thread said the same thing - not sure why.

All these things are far too sketchy and unreliable IMO

How much better service would you get with an android box with Ethernet hardwired vs wifi?

eaw_375 wrote:How much better service would you get with an android box with Ethernet hardwired vs wifi?
that all depends on your wired and wireless network.

some newer wifi networks can support faster speeds than some older wired networks.

802.11/ac is gigabit wireless and most new routers and devices support it, like Apple's Airport Extreme Wifi router and the new AppleTV.

honestly I think the biggest issue is not your internet connection or even your LAN connection in your house between devices - the biggest issue affecting buffering and bad quality video is how well the site you are streaming from can stream the video to you, and that's why Netflix and youtube etc will always shine over some shady server trying to steal content and bandwidth from somewhere.
