RBC open on Saturdays & new working Hrs

So RBC's saturday services are just like during the week? or is it just for non cash transactions.
Honestly, the extension to 4pm is a gift in itself.

The arrangement fir employees is great also. shows its feasible and doesn't have to mean the bank spending a whole heap more for the additional day.

Who does write these articles jed. So amm...1-3 pm on a friday, wrt the malls and rest of branches (with the exceptions mentioned) would be open for the reduced 1hr lunch period as they most likely would be shift cyling?

they needed to do this really......

they are so slow...esp at the rookery nook maraval location.....if you go there on a Friday you might very well still be standing in line into Saturday...

May I ask what are your thoughts on RBC vs. Scotia or Republic etc as it relates to waiting time as well as loan qualifications

I noticed a typical person would spend more time at a RBC teller than a Republic Bank teller. Just to do a basic transaction like a withdrawal or deposit I does see these RBC tellers typing on the keyboard like they writing an essay. You would think that there would be a template for most transactions so the only thing they should be typing is your name and account number and amount for the transaction but lord.... :-(

But this new opening hours would pull more customers though. It's definitely more convenient.

I had a 1hr wait in line at rbc gulf city today. Only reason i stayed in line was becos the atm wasnt working for me.

I wanted to go do some business today at my home branch in port of spain only to realize that the independence square branch isn't one of them that are open today (Saturday). My question is why didn't they give all the banks the same working hours,why do I have to research which one is open. And is there a reason why they all have different opening hrs

Yes only the mall branches according to the ad.

No way!

And I agree with you. Banks should be open after hours for those that get off work after 4pm. A 8am - 6pm schedule should be in place.

What I still scratch my head over is why the long lines for deposits. Haven't people heard of direct deposit?
