Should have used UPS.
Next time use UPS.
You sure it clear customs right? Well you can wait a little bit more, or you can expect more for a premium service you are paying for.
You really have to go in and collect it yourself.
Local FedEx does say how they can't deliver to some places. Places that they have delivered to before. So if you read the fine print about guaranteed delivery, and if you have proof that they have delivered to the marked address before, you can call FedEx (use the 1-800 number and call from Google Hangouts/Skype for free so you can talk to someone in USA) and get a refund. A full refund. I did this before. It's disappointing to see that it's just the attitude of the local drivers, got back my $75 CAD though.
And that's how I switched to UPS. The drivers actually call the contact number on the package and really try to make that delivery. Make a lil noise OP and get back your money if you feel you should deserve what you paid for.
p.s. this doesn't apply if you live in the bush eh, where even TTPost courier can't reach with their van.
