Is that flow as fibre or using the same coaxial to the modem?

Same coax

How your massy going. you using your own router?

Going good. I use the massy router/modem form inside and for garage and in street I use a secondary one.

Cool. They not on my side yet, but Digi start sign up here now . still with Flow trying AVS next week on one year contract, and see how things shape up

OK cool. Flow send me a reconnect offer 45 mb 31 entertainment channels and HBO/max flicks. And 7 additional channels of my choice for $380 a month too bad I done pull up all their coax cables.. but their upload speed is till 3 mb I good with my 15.

Lol. Hopefully next week I'll be saving , already have triple play with them

Anyone ever tried putting the SIM from their Digicel Landline into a digicel cellphone?

Is it compatible? Will it work?

I asked a rep once and she said it would automatically lock and become useless!

I tried once and it asks for either SIM pin or puk code. Depends on wether you put your SIM in the home phone, or the home phone SIM in your cell phone. But once you replace the original SIM it's back to normal.

Was a long while ago though, do I can't remember exactly which order it was

Good on TATT to publish that it shows just how much of a rip off TSTT actually is.

Dunno who they still fooling with that 1MB rubbish in this day and age for $145 and its not even $145 its really $180 with the crazy phone rental that you have to pay.

how are torrents working on Digicel broadband?
if you have the 25mb download speed...how fast as those torrents...average. yes i know it depends on availability but let us say it is something highly available.

Marabella:

Have had the 25Mbps package for around a month.
First 2 weeks - pings to Miami were 40ms-50ms. Great.
Last 2 weeks - ping to Miami never below 100ms.

Techs don't seem to know what's going on. Not happy.

Non tech guy here. I am trying to use a dd-wrt router to repeat/bridge the Digicel Play's Wifi but I am not getting it to work. I want to connect an external router for unlock us. I have many youtubers advice to setup but only failure. Anyone with a similar setup or IT professional can help out or guide me to a web page or something. Thanks in advance.

Is digicel internet 25mb down good for streaming kodi/netflix/youtube? the sales rep recommended the 50mb down saying ppl with 25mb complain that it is not enough. I don't know if its fact or a sales tactic. I currently have flow ~30 down and don't have issues with that speed, only when i the speed drops significantly

Thats called Sales Man trying to wash your ass.

Even 10MB can do all what you want just fine.

Ok in the La Romain area.
it has been 11 months since i had Digicel 3 in one (internet , tv, and phone)
I had Flow service 30Mb fro almost 4 years . I ran the two services from the ISPs in parallel for 6 weeks before i switched off FLOW.
DIgicel Internet of 25Mb download and 15 Mb upload works for me. 2 laptops, 2 tablets, 2 Kodi boxes and my work from home a couple days a week.
NO Issues with their service.

will continue to use them and even with FLOW , MASSEY and TSTT available digicel home service is quite excellent.
I have had 2-3 periods of down time in that 11 month period ... got the text message the service was disrupted.

on the Mobile side DIGICEL 3G and cell servcie in La Romain and most to Trinidad as I am between locations most days of the week , Digicel mobile just sucks . I compare it with the Bmobile service. which is has better coverage in the areas i

Mausica near Pricesmart....

Digicel finally came around and I signed up for the 25d/15u + 26 TV Channels. I wanted the 50 Mbps but I tried the 25Mbps first.

Installation was within an hour, the guys were courteous and professional. System up and running - no problems.

Speed tests so far shows 25/15 and TV shows really clear.

All the extra devices: TV Box, laptop, etc. are connected and running fine with wifi - hard-wired & wireless.

25Mbps seems good for me so far......saving $180.00

Has anyone actually managed to get the Huawei to go into bridge mode and be able to use your own router as it supposed to be i.e..Handling the assigning of ip's , port forwarding etc?

Can one of you folks who owns Digicel Fibre, do 1 speedtest to Washington DC and 1 test to Florida for me please? preferably Miami

I only need to know the Ping. Flow often works like ass in the sense that some games need really top notch connection to function properly.

It really sucks how far this country is from North America, certain games like ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 has delay based netcode and there is often a half a second delay when you press a button playing online. If the connection is like say 50ms it will run pretty fine though. But is that possible?
