a close relative in my family is an ex caroni worker and still has his residential lot and agri 2 acres.... the residential is a lease for 199 years and the agri is a lease for 30 years....the residential sells for no less than 300k now and we've gotten offers as way up as 485k...the agri land price depends on location but the most i know they sell for is 150k max. I would advise the only people you should really buy any of these lands from is from ex caroni workers themselves while doing a background check in embd with badge number etc.

That's actually the current asking I know people asking for some crazy prices for sum not even a whole lot.
Secondly the bank making you find other clearences required as letter from carioni 1975 as well as from the health clearences from the district it belongs to..
But some places getting the valuation so it's possible to go tru the bank..make sure you get a valuation that ups the price a Lil.

There was a time a when i know banks were not giving any loans for the land so most of the buyers were cash buyers...before kamla made the lands transferable they sold for rel small money...around 30k... back then people who had the money bought numerous lots and now selling back each lot for min 450k...and the thing is they selling like hot bread ....people who got lots in prime locations asking big money and they sellin

People seem to be forgetting that the lands are leased and you cannot use the residential lots for income generation

It hasn't flooded in 45 years as far as I know. By the river it does, but that's not really felicity proper.

The place that selling, I have 4 lots. There has never flooded.

That area had good drainage in most areas, and the river close, so the water drains off fast.
Have not know there to flood
