For one, it would be highly unlikely that she was unaware of the scheme to swindle money from petrotrin but she would pretend to be ignorant about it should the issue arise, even if it was another operator being implicated. If she was responsible for investigating that aspect, she will turn a blind eye and find nothing irregular.
She can also inform her father of any proposed investigation that may involve/ implicate him and possibly delay to give him enough time to tie up any loose ends.
BTW, since when is Ramdeen's opinion important? He should stick to defending dead people IMHO.

The question is how far back the invoice padding went.
And what the company can do about it.
Last year when this was uncovered they moved the man and production fell drastically.
