What are the chances of getting refurbished mini so soon? The prices are nice but isn't that what competition is about?

Not true, according to Instagram

As Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom said in a blog post yesterday, that is not the case.
Let's be absolutely clear about this. Instagram does not want to sell your photos. Yes, Instagram screwed up by not properly explaining the ToS change to the public from the start, but all the fuss is over nothing.
In his post, Systrom wrote that Instagram will make money by letting companies and brands pay to promote their own photos in your feed. It will only use your data to show how your Instagram friends are connected to that company or brand.

Walmart selling iPhone 5 for US$127

n an unprecedented move, Walmart has cut the price of the entry level iPhone 5 to $127, 9 To 5 Mac reports.
It's also selling the iPhone 4S for $47 and the third generation iPad for $399.
Typically, the entry level iPhone 5 costs $199 and the iPhone 4S costs $99.
You have to go to Walmart stores to get the discount. The deal runs for 30 days.
We're not sure what's going on with these discounts, but they're great deals.
If we had to guess, we'd say Walmart is willing to take a $72 loss on sales to get more people in its stores.

I checked out with both PayPal and normal CC and both were not accepted. Usual crap with this card though.

well i only posted the deal cos i checked their accepted payment methods first. and according to this, they do:

If Your Card Is Issued by a Non-U.S. Bank

Credit and debit cards issued by banks outside of the U.S. are a valid form of payment on Walmart.com. These cards are subject to the same security checks as cards issued by banks in the U.S.

The security checks are intended to ensure the safety and security of your financial information and prevent unauthorized use of your credit or debit card. Unfortunately, communication with foreign banks is not always as seamless as with banks based in the U.S., and we may be unable to verify the information required to complete your transaction.

If we are unable to verify payment, we will cancel your order and send you notification by email that the order could not be completed. To further ensure security and privacy, these emails do not include details of why the order was not completed.

-Roach- wrote:I See PGA Selling The iPad Mini 16GB For $2000... You Guys Think Its Refurbished?...

Because its cheap doesn't mean it's refurbished and because its refurbished doesn't mean it's used !! ( apple products)

There are two types of apple refurbished products :

1. Used products that were returned and restored to 100% pass on apple tests

2. Old stock that didn't sell over a year that they are getting rid off (never used)

So for example if its a new item such as iPad mini for so cheap either its :

1. Latin American version

2. They have a direct link to the factory / supplier before it reaches apple

3.They buy them refurbished from authorized apple resellers

OR:

4. worse case scenario ...hot items (stolen items ) highly doubt it though .

nothing strange about it, since digicel isn't an official carrier, there isn't a bundle for them, 'Carrier 13.0' is the generic bundle so all features are available, hence why you can input the settings for the hotspot.

btw, the order with Walmart didn't go through even with a US PayPal account, customer service could only tell me that it failed the verification process, never had that problem with PayPal before.

a T&T credit card doesnt work with Walmart even if you have a US address on the credit card.
