Hey guys.. so looking to get myself a Retina 15inch Macbook Pro for Christmas.. anyone has any advice as to why I should/should not get one.. pros n cons? Other than the lack of optical drive and ethernet which wont really affect me. It'll be my first personal Mac as well..any problems associated with these other than the image retention in some displays?

im in canada right now and thinking of getting an ipad mini i keep looking at it in the store i want it to put in my car and use it like i currently do my iphone (gps, music, etc) if i get the cellular version i assume it cant be unlocked yet or can it?

Apple really sticking with that yes.. almost all samsung devices have a gps chip, don't know why they haven't put it on the ipad mini or ipod touch..

i am kinda cheap,
so i was wandering if instead of getting the cellular version could i get the normal wifi version and tether it with my iphone to get my gps maps and stuff to work?
the guy in the apple store says no but i don't see why not,
i think he was trying to tell me that the ipad mini doesn't support this or something but tbh it seemed more like he wanted to get me to buy the cellular model,
i guess i will tether it in the store tomorow and see what happens.

dammit just answered my own question the cheapskate version of the mini does not have gps
