I highly doubt the common man going to take a look around and watch how hard things are and vote PNM. I'm sure Manning thought the same way in 2010, he was confident they would put him back. Let Rowley make that mistake.

Wait wait......you mean people think that the UNC, in its current state, actually has a chance of winning?

Because a Kamla-led UNC cannot win another general election in this country. So unless something drastic happens with the UNC's planning and strategy (a "strategy" which until this point is lethargic and reactive at best ), the PNM-led gov't continues until 2030 at a minimum.
If Tobago seats get cut from pnm , and the marginals decide they staying home from the polls.. They don't need to vote unc, jess need to not vote pnm... Unc taking it... Specially if Tobago support the unc choice for pm.

But, I would rather pnm get this third term to solidify that they can't do sheit when they need to do things precisely

I agree hover. You might get the die-hards to do that, but the die-hards alone will lose an election.

I think we have some fellas here who hitting the baliser juice hard and hold "Great is the PNM and it shall prevail" to be some biblical truth.

Chambers lost in 1986.
Manning lost in 1995
Manning lost again in 2010 (to Kamla, the same Kamla ppl here doubting)
Rowley would have lost in 2020 if not for the COVID fluke election

Rowley going to lose badly in 2025. I could take anybody that bet. That loss might make even Chambers look good
Whether ppl want to believe it or not PNM saving grace in 2020 was Covid, PNM got a grade F prior to covid . Had it not been for that virus they would have lost. Well it have no covid this rounds. Let's see what the true result should have beenm

There was a long list of PNM actions in their first term that had Trini froth making the place look like a foam party.
The foolish MoH proclamation that we defeated COVID handed them a 2nd term.

If the 2025 American election proved anything though, you shouldn't discount people's short sightedness, brain softening due to chronically online culture and their lack of critical thinking for choosing governance.

That is what you call money flowing and public servants don't have to do anything to earn that massive increase. It also helps that next year is election in Guyana as well. Irfan is just an Exxon puppet.

There are public servants who are living well on 2013 salaries and spending most of the day on social media.

Meanwhile Kamla gladly accepting raise snd backpayfor doing lord knows what after pretending she dont want it, and is still apparently the best and only solution the defunct has to offer after 10 years, going up for the title shot again after 2 consecutive GE losses and numerous LE losses.
