ok so here's what....just got some info from a person at clico not saying anymore than the person just working there....all this hoorah is just a small liquidity problem and the government wanting to acquire a piece of CL Financial....that's what i've been told so don't shoot me i just sharing what i heard....i not saying this true....

Ummmm...assets are irrelevant without considering liabilities and equity.

... it was around 1980 that the National Commercial Bank went under and people lost their money.
