Sent in a Tint Exemption application a few years ago, heard nothing since.

More than likely that application loss yes.

Most OEM windscreen has about a 5-7 percent already. I had a 75% but showed 64% with the meter.

Using the llumar 80% airblue, no issues and it test under the legal limit

The air blue 80 is not as effective in total heat rejection than a regular dyed tint, say from xpel

I put Xpel 70% and overall VLT came down to 64% similar to the other tuner. Visibility is basically unchanged even in dark night driving.

Let's put some logic into it.... Is testing going to be carried out at various LO locations so persons can ensure they conform to regs Or is there a standard device that All tint shops could access?

You will get different readings from a cheap light meter in comparison to a "better" one being used by LO

There are far too many vehuicles with ILLEGAL tint on them now, start charging or hitting owners with hefty points, they will conform- and make it double for police and licencsing officers if caught with same dark tint, they ought to know better

possibly criminals would want to use dark tint to evade being seen as well as try to hide any weapons they have from ttps simply glancing around at vehicles. though if they usually have a stolen car it would mean stealing cars which already have dark tint vs putting it on themselves.

but we are not the only country with tint laws- the US have them as well the only difference is they always used % instead of an officer deciding if your tint too dark and we now keatch up to that.

Yeah Eliteauto-tuntun has tints and bus route pass.

Just think of those criminals using bus route from airport to pos under a Airport taxi pass.
