if you bring a LCD tv via skybox,u will get shafted more than if you bring in a LED tv

the volumetric weights on LED tvs are MUCH less than LCD

example that I was showing another 2nr:



LED TV:
Carton Dimensions (WxHxD): 51.6″ x 30.7″ x 5.5″

LCD TV:
Carton Dimensions 51 x 33 x 8.9

Volumetric weights: 52lbs vs 90.2lbs

both are 46inch

I brought in my sony 46 inch 3d LED , i think it came close to 90lbs, they charged me to crate it.(80US optional) and then charged me the weight of the crate ....i came out saving just about 1300 when compared to one from pricesmart, although the pricesmart one was a few models lower.....duties was surprisingly low...just about 700 tt , i think that saved me..
