So...in preparation for my workshop...I needed a dust separator. This tool will be connected to my table saw, miter saw, router, sander..and a floor sweep. Its used to collect all the dust and prevents it from entering the vacuum..no more expensive bags and filters hadda be purchased to often. Noww...seeing we are livin in trinidad where every damn thing is expensive...I made my ownn ta da da daa...cycloneeee dusstt separatorrrr...from two pigtail buckets..mdf and pvc pipe...I will post pics from the pc at home. (Trinituners mobile department need lix...I cant post pics from fone)
Stay tuned

you are very correct, so if this has to be built by someone who has to buy all the fittings, a sheet of MDF and 2 buckets...

avg $300.00

Fortunately for ME...(OH and BTW this cost me $20.00 to build. :D ) I just had to buy 2 buckets

I havent drawn with a pencil in years but you should be able to understand. This is basically how most people do it.

Cut into approx 135/225 degree sections
Hinge at one edge
Install Internals
Make Base or stand for it
BBQ real meat

Tuner lime when you make it?

doh ask what i used to take the pic:roll:

there's usually a vent on the top cover to allow the smoke to exit the pit!
