1. If I were to purchase an iphone 5 , can my old TSTT B-Mobile sim ( I have since 2004) be converted to a nano-sim by cutting ? Would actually work without problems ?
2. Where can a sim cutter be purchased in Trinidad to convert standard sim to nano-sim ?
Thanks
the contacts on those older SIM cards are larger. You will have to get the SIM with the smaller contacts to cut it to a nano SIMHance Rampersad wrote:I am sure these question has been asked on this thread already, but it si difficult to locate the answer.

Apple Inc. has cut its orders for components for the iPhone 5 due to weaker-than-expected demand, people familiar with the situation said Monday.
Apple's orders for iPhone 5 screens for the January-March quarter, for example, have dropped to roughly half of what the company had previously planned to order, two of the people said.
The Cupertino, Calif., company has also cut orders for components other than screens, according to one of the people.
Apple notified the suppliers of the order cut last month, the people said.
The move indicates that sales of the new iPhone haven't been as strong ...

iDynamic wrote:so my iPhone 5 is now dead for good it seems.
It all started 2 days ago , battery died on me when i was on the highway which brought up this symbolthat battery became fully drained about 1hr 30 mins after which showed this symbol
by the time i got home the regular symbol was not there , the screen was blacked out!
I plugged it in to charge and was not getting any juice , left it for about an hour ...still nothing i kept on pressing the home button like mad which brought up a third symbol showing only the charging symbol (no battery). At this point the iPhone 5 was not taking charge from the wall outlet so i ran to my macbook where i managed to plug in the iPhone before the screen blacked out again !.
A fourth symbol appeared which was a bolt in the center of the screen indicating that the iPhone was saved !
------
The next day i was on my way to the beach , it died , same sequence as above took place , this time i didn't arrive home until 7-10 hours later , by then it was too late , left it charging over night ...tried everything the genius / online forums recommend , still nothing so according to apple when it reaches this stage the phone has to be sent back to them and replaced.

That's where phones are headed : following Apple.
So you sending it back to them, or you going to try replacing the battery yourself?iDynamic wrote:according to apple when it reaches this stage the phone has to be sent back to them and replaced.

If you had an AppleTV you could use your MBP and your phone on your TV wirelessly
Mountain Lion supports all of that.

i have an old iphone 3G that I want to give to my dad, but the home button is not working. I plan to update it to a firmware that has assistive touch to workaround the home button. Anyone knows what is the lates firmware that I can update it to and still be able to unlock it?
Ever since I went factory unlocked I have not kept up to date with jailbreak/unlocks for the iphone.

I have, 'find my iPhone' installed however it has not been switched on since and is offline. Is there any other way to track it? Also I know the IMEI number is unique to each phone. Do bmobile have anything in place if someone tries to reactivate the phone? It is still under contract with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
