Those that have used it so far, what are your impressions?

Looks a lot better than it ever has on any blackberry device ill tell ya that

if you used a BB10 device you'll realize that your statement is wrong because it's the same look on those devices as well similar to the OS7 devices with the minor exception of the option button *3 dots* in the corner

Too much jumping all over the place for me. Pictures in their own section as opposed to the chat like in WhatsApp I don't like. Potential to have one disjointed conversation. Plus it wouldn't cover Windows Phone like other solutions for those of us that have people with those phones.

Can't please everybody I guess. I doubt they will ever develop for Windows phone either.

Just a quick side note Apple is streaming the "We have a lot more to cover" event today starting at 1pm. So far only on Apple TVs but likely through Safari as well.

Had an issue with the power/lock button on my iPhone 5. Did some searches online and it seem to be a known issue. Button start becoming unresponsive. Over the past couple weeks the right side stopped responding. Couple days ago the entire button stopped.

Ended up having to change the power strip which includes the volume controls.

so it seems I'm starting to have the unresponsive power button issue on my iPhone 5 now sigh.

how much did it cost to fix?

Settings > general >accessibility >Assistive touch ON
This will at least bypass excessive use if the home button and power button to decrease the chances of this happen and it can tide you over until you get the hardware problem fixed

iPad air has a nice reduction in weight but seems a lot like an 'iPad 3rd gen' leap to me, I would have been sold if they upgraded the rear camera to 8MP and put in a fingerprint sensor.

This was a GREAT event.
It ties in nicely with the iPhone one.

Now we can see almost the whole picture and it's clear Tim Cook and Apple are still shooting straight and hard.

camera on an iPad is not so important IMO but definitely they should have put fingerprint there too
