Read over my post what I wrote, it has nothing to do with defending.

It is questioning PNM tuners and viewing the responses on tuner. It is the opposite way around.

He probably happy to be in the background and continue with his business - Leonce Innovations. As a minister he would not have been able to run side hustles.

Sources, however, told the Express that the new Labour Minister is Stephen McClashie, procurement consultant. McClashie has 40 years of experience in supply chain management, project execution, business development, strategic planning and finance, and currently works at NGC (National Gas Company) as a senior manager in supply chain management.

So should having a business that has been involved with every govt, preclude one from attaining office?

Forget Faris.

We need better people in Govt. In this small country there will always be overlap in terms of business and govt.

What do we want to be the protocols dealing with a business person being elected, and how that impacts an existing business.

In terms of shareholding....is there a threshold?

You trying to put a spin.

Having a business should not preclude anyone from attaining office. However, a conflict of interest arises when you and your family financially benefit from public rents to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.

You cannot spin that away.

There are supposed to be laws that deal with these things. But we don't follow laws in T&T.

That is why the wives of Faris, Colm, Smiley and so on could reap $million contracts.

Likewise, family members of the UNC representatives, while in office, benefitted to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

What Donald Trump is now doing, our Parliamentarians have been doing for years.

Forget Faris.

We need better people in Govt. In this small country there will always be overlap in terms of business and govt.

What do we want to be the protocols dealing with a business person being elected, and how that impacts an existing business.

In terms of shareholding....is there a threshold?
