WI 75-4, chasing 385, well they lasted until the fourth innings at least.

I held back commenting on their 1st innings performances because I knew this here is what was coming. Their usual mode of operation. Nothing hasn't changed!

WI 115-5 with about about two sessions still to go.
Da Silva and Holder the only hope for a reasonable score one suspects.

Another three day test defeat. Maybe WI should lose full member status.

Don't worry WI will take out their whitewash against England on South Africa and beat them silly!

Joe root entered the series with an average below 50. It's something that differentiated him from the remainder of the Fab 4.

He now averages 50, the mark of great test batsman. He's also now the 7th highest test scorer in history.

Graham Thorpe died yesterday.
To have batted for a significant part of your career in the 1990s and end up with an average of 45 against the likes of McGrath, Warne, Ambrose and Walsh is pretty good especially in a side as woeful as that English one was.

Thorpe's wife has come out and revealed he committed suicide.

Sad!!!

It was funny seeing Braithwaite say rain prevented WI from winning the last test.
My man SA declared with 7 wickets still in hand so that the game could have had a chance at a result.

WI has the confidence of Australia but the talent of Zimbabwe.

That 50+ lead that SA has right now might as well be 150+ lead on this pitch. I hope WI ain't looking at that small lead and smiling thinking its a small lead...

Today is Shivnarine Chanderpaul's 50th BD.
Quite possible the last great Test Batsman the WI ever had.

For comparison sake the best WI test batsman now and one who was compared to Chanders ealry in his career is Kraigg Braithwaite. Braithwaithe's test average at 93 tests in is 33. Chanders average was 51. Its no wonder WI are absoutley dog shiet in test cricket when your best batsman doesn't even average 35.
