WI finally beat PAK in an ODI series in 34 years!

Still can't believe WI can win a match though.

Looking back at that 1991 series - those games were within Lara's first 10 ODIs played.
Basically he played his entire career without ever beating Pakistan in a bilateral ODI series thereafter

Viv gives his side of the BC Lara story.

Was there a plaque which stated that the captain placed his gear there?

Nope. One swallow does not a summer make. 35 years is a very long time to celebrate an ODI series win. over Pakistan.

I bailed out real early from watching that game on TV6.

Piss poor coverage and ads at any time plus, they were several runs behind Cricinfo's coverage. Imagine that!
