Wait...I said forget Faris, you say I’m spinning.
Smh.
So FORGET FARIS.Ignore any existing people and allegation and fact.

We need better people in Govt. In this small country there will always be overlap in terms of business and govt.
do we want to be the protocols dealing with a business person being elected, and how that impacts an existing business.

In terms of shareholding....is there a threshold?

bluefete wrote:You trying to put a spin.

Having a business should not preclude anyone from attaining office. However, a conflict of interest arises when you and your family financially benefit from public rents to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.

You cannot spin that away.

There are supposed to be laws that deal with these things. But we don't follow laws in T&T.

That is why the wives of Faris, Colm, Smiley and so on could reap $million contracts.

Likewise, family members of the UNC representatives, while in office, benefitted to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

bluefete wrote:Since when did that ever stop any one of them.

Ent Faris and his family collecting public rent?

I asked if they are Hindus, they may have Hindu names but have nothing to do with the religion.

Ent Rowlee is a Christan but lies as in e-mail gate and Petrotrin.

Rowley's new Cabinet

http://newsday.co.tt/2020/08/18/rowleys-new-cabinet

THE NEW 19-member Cabinet of the Rowley administration will present a mix of old and new faces as they take the oath of office on Wednesday at the President's House.
The Prime Minister offered little insight as he spoke to the media on Tuesday to announce the swearing-in of his new government after the Election and Boundaries Commission submitted its final results to President Paula-Mae Weekes.

Slim,

While i may agree with you because Trinis ass too happy and i want them feel something so bad to get that annoying mentality out....

A Cat 5 hurricane aint gonna be fun.

Now usually people who wish for flood and hurricane are somewhat confident that their house can stand up, their area does not flood and they are well supplied......

BUT, in a catastrophe Slim, you really do not want to be the only house standing.
