Around 2, the east was black and the west had a patch of blue sky with a nice light cloud, framed by black clouds. Was on a long work call and didn't get to take a photo of it.

I was sure flash flood business was to follow but it rained lightly for a hour then cleared up.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are periodically expected within the next 24 hours. This is due to a broad area of low pressure associated with the ITCZ. Gusty winds ( in excess of 55km/hr ) and rainfall accumulations of 25mm or higher are expected near the heavier showers and thunderstorms. IMPACTS: Street flooding, localized flash flooding and ponding can cause temporary traffic disruptions and landslips in areas so prone. Gusty winds can lead to broken tree branches and loose/unsecured items being displaced. Seas can also become agitated during periods of heavy downpours.
