NEW LOOK CHAGUARAMAS

Trinis enjoy new look Chaguaramas

ACTIVITIES at Chaguaramas last weekend were so overwhelming that the authorities had to issue a traffic advisory. The National Operations Centre (NOC) advised of the traffic caused by the large number of people enjoying the attractive boardwalk and other visual improvements to the north-western peninsula. It is estimated that some 25,000 people visit and enjoy the boardwalk each weekend.

National Recycling Initiative

The iCARE Project, which is an acronym for Community, Awareness, Recycle, Everyday, is a continuation of the Beverage Containers Clean-Up Project (BCCP). The BCCP was aimed at removing indiscriminately disposed beverage containers from the environment, and providing SWMCOL with the capacity to process recyclable PET bottles for export.

The ICARE Project seeks to go a step further, with the inclusion of other types of solid waste, more specifically tyres and e-waste. The primary objective of iCARE is to prepare the country for the passage of the EMA’s Solid Waste Rules and other relevant legislation with respect to a deposit refund system.

Throughout the week of recycling which lasts from August 17-30, citizens are encouraged to sort, collect and fill these distributed recyclable bags with appropriate recyclable material. This includes: plastic, glass, aluminium, Tetra Pak like milk and juice cartons, and small electronics.

UML, when the PNMites come out and say that the houses that King RM handing out are of a substandard design, let this UTT graduate deal with them. I will shoot down their comments about the design of the house in the photo above does not even comply with the recommendations in the Trinidad and Tobago Small Building Code when it comes to shear resistance of elevated structures in seismic regions. I will not let those PNMites take away our beloved PPG's glory.

UML, lash them PNMites with the information that HDC is giving out bonuses to performing (=PPG) employees at the end of this month. Performing pleb employees are getting a bonus equivalent to their monthly salary in their August paycheck and performing managers are getting a bonus equivalent to double their monthly salary in their August paycheck. This bonus is in addition to the normal end of contract bonus which those PNMite HDC employees will also get. Them HDC employees ever see performance like this under the PNM?

Great is the PPG! Forever we shall prevail!

UML, when them PNMites come and criticise the above work saying that the reinforcing steel bars are touching the formwork as shown in the above photograph, let this UTT graduate deal with them. I will shoot down their comments about the lack of proper concrete cover to the reinforcing steel and other stupid comments about how the chlorinated water from the pool environment is a severe exposure condition and that the concrete cover is very important for long term durability.

Lalchansingh was very thorough in his instructions to me on how to protect the PPG when you post these undesirable photos which showcase the PPG in a bad light.

UML, Lalchansingh say the PPG's Propaganda Board is getting impatient with you not sorting the photos properly before you post them. Don't say I did not warn you. I am here to help.

Great is the PPG! Forever we shall prevail!

RP continues to criticize but fails to realise he is part of the problem because he is a highly qualifief UTT  engineer that paves roads and builds box drains and being in charge of these issues he is raising has left them unaddressed.

we can only imagine what passed as good work and performance or lack of under the PNM in the past, because we will never know just like we will never know the numerous skeletons the PNM has hiding in their closet from RAPE AND MURDER of a CHILD to LACK OF QUALIFICATIONS, etc.....moreso with Las Alturas, etc.

PROPAGANDA-less citizens. The ones that want to see PERFORMANCE, PROGRESS, GOOD GOVERNANCE, etc.

Here are the HUNDREDS of ACHIEVEMENTS your PPG government has achieved in ONLY 5 YEARS with a LOWER OIL PRICE.

:| UML, Lalchansingh hired me to help you. I have told you numerous time to let me approve your photos before you post things the PNMites will attack my beloved PPG on.

The fact that you chose to ignore my help is your own failing and incompetency, no one else can be blamed for you exposing the PPG to attack by the PNMites.

Perhaps you should revert to going back behind the stove in the kitchen to cook for your man where it seems you obviously belong.

So if there was a fire, should Ian Allenye call 990 or should he again call the PM who would call the minister, whose personal escort has to start a bucket brigade?

This is PR stunt, destruction of systems, madness that this govt promulgates. No more come Sept 8.

MoNS sets policy and might even observe the implementation of that policy in person.

Not respond to calls, apprehend criminals and throw them in his trunk.
