So...once day after starting and I am yet to feel the need to pick up a cigarette, in fact I gave away my already opened pack for DuMaurier to a co-worker today...so far so good!

Charged once last night, still going strong on same battery...the real test though will be when beer consumption steps in

I have not set myself the goal to quit but if I smoke less regulars then I'd be happy with that.

yeah I'm not forcing myself, if I want one I'll have it, but so far so good, I'm happy with the results of the ecig and after one day I'm glad I bought it!

the thing is, to me its another way of getting nicotine in your system, a very creative aid and if it gets me off the tobacco etc then great.

I never tried any other product like a patch or gum but this goes a long way in helping as it simulates smoking itself.

this is helluva year ,,,, i quit smoking 2 months and 4 days ago..

just woke up one morning and realised that after smoking for 14 years, it was time to quit. had a severe case of bronchitis that refused to get any better...

after some serious meds, i had absolutely no desire to smoke. after the first month i began coughing up what looks to be the tar that was caked on the inside of my lungs..i think if everyone that smokes saw what came out my chest that day, they'd stop smoking also ..

Generally, that should do it, you might want to give it a little while for the liquid to settle (it shouldn't look like the liquid is pooling towards the top of the cart), so it won't flood the atty or anything as such.

Only touched cigs once since I've been on this...cost a bit to start, but have just about everything (except liquid and extra blank carts) to last for the rest of the year.

Now it's just to make my way up by J to get some of that JC smoke juice, time to start transitioning to medium and low nicotine dosage. :)

SPK1983, cool thx. I watched inside it well with each drop to make sure it was well absorbed before adding a next drop.

I had one du maurier last night, and honestly, it taste stink! it reminded me of when I started and I wondered how people smoke that?

I'm trying the USA mix now. I still find its a bit rough on the back of my throat or maybe I'm pulling too hard

No need to be skeptical overall, I think just about every user here would be largely satisfied with the product. It just doesn't taste 100% exactly like a typical cig, but it's something you get used to very quickly, and then afterwards you'll wonder why you even touched tobacco in the first place...

The nicotine levels are just an indicator as to how strong the liquid is. With the high strength, 1ml of liquid is worth a bit over a pack cigarettes, purely on nicotine strength. Medium and lower would be like an equivalent to smoking "light" cigarettes or even lower in some cases. It all depends on the actual nicotine strength stated.

Ideally though, 1ml of liquid should suffice (for the most part) per day. You just have to keep in mind how much liquid you're using, especially with the high strength, it's easy to lose track depending on your habits. I'll recommend Medium strength to start if you're concerned about the nicotine levels.

Well I still use the ecig pretty heavily, but the amount I'll actually smoke has gone down in comparison.

A 10ml bottle of liquid (equivalent to a carton of cigs) would last me about 12-14 days when I started back in late October side. Now, a bottle would last me closer to a month.

True @ stocking up cartridges, but good thing the carts are relatively inexpensive considering. Just order your items like once a month and you're good to go.

And I agree with tr1ad, a LOT of people are still unaware of these devices, hence why more people aren't using them...yet. It would also be helpful for establishments like bars that are fully enclosed to be aware of these products, and more importantly, to be aware of the fact that usage of these devices will NOT violate the restrictions in effect from the Tobacco Control Bill.
