There are 3 main options I've come across thus far, for TT based businesses doing e-commerce:
1. AlertPay -https://www.alertpay.com/en/Default.aspxFrom my dealings with AlertPay, they are very good. Great customer service (you get your questions answered faster if you post on their FB Wall. The service operates in a similar fashion as Paypal (i.e its an e-Wallet). They act as a 3rd-party Merchant
Pros: Good for e-commerce and SaaS based applications
Cons: Smaller than paypal but growing very quickly.
Good For Sales under US$10,000/mth2. 2Checkout - http://www.2checkout.com/I personally know many TT companies who use 2CO. Their service is mediocre to good.
Pros: Good for e-commerce and SaaS based applications
Cons: They act as a reseller. So you account may become frozen if they find you selling certain prohibited brandnames (eg. Disney, Victoria Secret etc.). Google and check out their prohibited list.
Good For Sales under US$5,000/mth3. CheddarGetter - https://cheddargetter.com/I personally had dealings with them. Their customer service is Excellent. Their platform is Excellent. Everything about them is Excellent. They act as a service which sit's on top of your Merchant Account. Being a TT Company they will set you up with one of their Merchant Partners who focus on high-risk international companies, so you get your own Merchant Account.
Pros: Good for SaaS based applications. Great if you're building say the next Freshbooks etc. (Check out CG's feature list)
Cons: Only good for SaaS based applications, so you won't be able to use them if you doing traditional 1-off e-commerce sales.
Good For Sales over US$7,000/mthNB: All of the 3 mentioned above allow withdrawals to TT via Check, WireTransfer, and Debit Cards in some cases (2CO and AP)
On GoogleCheckout and Paypal - don't bother. Google requires your business be incorporated in the US. Paypal does not allow withdrawals to TT.
It should be noted for risk mitigation, do not, I repeat do not, use Paypal if your sales exceed $3000 US per month. They are an e-Wallet, not a Merchant Account. And finally, if you want that good old fashion 3rd World feel, with Good Ol' Fashion 3rd World Customer Service, there's always Scotia. No need say more on them. You can give them a call to get the true Experience.
Hope this helps in your decision.
PS: As with all things money, email/contact the companies and make sure you're happy/they fit your needs.
